Nel 2012 è stato formato il primo comitato in Francia. Prima di allora la Ban List del formato era stata definita da IdfTrotter, l'organizzatore del primo torneo contadino in Francia a Parigi. Il primo comitato era composto da 5 giocatori abituali conosciuti sul forum di Magicville con i soprannomi: Charlee, Manu34, Knightseb, Max2070 e Pir39.
Tra il 2012 e il 2023 si sono succeduti all'interno del comitato contadino 25 membri, questi giocatori si distinguono in particolare per la loro buona conoscenza del formato. Alcuni di loro partecipano o hanno partecipato attivamente allo sviluppo del format, ad esempio organizzando tornei locali.
