EDH Peasant - Rules
EDH Peasant Rules :
Building Rules :
1.1. Players must choose as their commander :
an uncommon creature
or an uncommon planeswalker
or two uncommon creatures with partner
or an uncommon creature with "choose a background" and an uncommon background.
Remark : Commanders doesn’t need to be legendary.
1.2. An EDH Peasant deck have to contain exactly 100 cards, commanders and background included.
1.3. Basic terrains exempt, each card is limited as a 1 of maximum per deck.
Remark : Some cards can overrule it like Relentless Rats
1.4a. An Edh Peasant deck, including commander, have to be built with a maximum of 11 uncommons and no rare of mythics.
1.4b. The rarity system in Edh Peasant is the same as the one in Peasant : the lowest rarity in the Gatherer.
Playing the game :
2.1. A game start with the commander in the commander zone. As long as a commander is in the commander zone, it can be cast while still being subject to restrictions conerning when it a creature or planeswalker can be cast. As an additional cost to cast the spell, it’s owner have to pay 2 incolor mana for each time the commander was cast from the commander zone.
2.2. If a commander is in a graveyard or in the exile and that this card was putted in this zone since last time actions based on a state have been verified, it’s owner can decide to put it back in the commander zone. If a commander have to be put in the hand or library from anywhere, it’s owner can put it in the commander zone in it’s place. This effect can be applied multiple time for the same event.
2.3. If a player was dealt 21 combat damage by a commander during the game, that player loose.
2.4. The capacities that allow to search one or multiple cards owned outside of the game (ex: first day of class) do not function in Edh Peasant.
